Wilmington is finishing a lot of new interior space. In 2025, county permit data reported by Port City Daily shows New Hanover County permitting 2,717 housing units; apartments made up more than half, and all of those were approved within the City of Wilmington. The same records count 79 new commercial construction permits. UNC Wilmington broke ground in February 2026 on a 540-bed residence hall, and a June 2026 meetings-industry profile puts about 900 guest rooms in the downtown convention district. Corridors, lobbies, amenity rooms and guest floors in buildings like these are where commercial wallcovering tends to be specified.
On a new build, the general contractor sets the day. A site can require orientation before anyone works, badges at the gate and a parking pass for each vehicle, and the subcontract spells out insurance and safety training. Our installers are W-2 employees, we carry $2M general liability, workers' comp and auto insurance, and members of our crew are OSHA 10 certified. In April the crew hung wallcovering on a data center project whose GC required all three.
The product arrives specified as well. Under the North Carolina State Building Code, 2024 edition, in effect since 1 July 2025 and based on the 2021 International Building Code, interior wall finishes are classed by flame spread, and textile or expanded vinyl wallcoverings are tested with their mounting system, adhesive included. Commercial vinyl is also sold by durability type, with Types I, II and III set by minimum weight in the Wallcovering Association's W-101 standard.

02You get our bid, with proof of $2M general liability, workers' comp and auto coverage on request.
03Before hanging starts, the crew completes what the site requires, such as orientation, badges or parking passes. Members of the crew carry OSHA 10 cards.
04The specified goods go up with the adhesive on the approved submittal, each inside corner hand-cut and the pattern level through the room.
05We walk the finished area with the GC or manager and fix what is flagged. Our 1-year workmanship guarantee covers the installation.
Commercial goods hang to the same standard as residential paper: inside corners cut by hand, never wrapped, and a pattern that comes out of every corner level. What changes is who sets the terms. A commercial job answers to the GC's schedule, the designer's specification and the owner's finish. If no designer has ordered goods yet, we can work out quantities from the drawings and the pattern repeat. Residential detail lives on our wallpaper installation service page.

A 1-year workmanship guarantee on the installation, a term subcontract agreements sometimes ask about

Orientation, a badge and a parking pass for the truck: our crew worked under those terms on a data center project. Members of the crew hold OSHA 10 cards, which bigger commercial jobs like to see.

Every installer is a W-2 employee, so no labor broker stands between your site and our crew. We carry $2M general liability, workers' comp and auto insurance, and a 1-year workmanship guarantee covers the installation.

Wrapped vinyl at an inside corner fails where everyone can see it. We have fixed hotel wallcovering where it was wrapped. Our crew cuts every inside corner and carries the pattern out of it level.

Our shop on Judges Road sits about 7 road miles to City Hall downtown. Booking usually runs two to three weeks out, we answer the phone, and the GCs we work for know we show up.
A commercial wallcovering bid is priced on the project as drawn rather than room by room. The figure depends on:
width, weight and durability type
if the GC splits the work
